Tell us about yourself. What do you like to do
in your free time? I play my
clarinet and pet my guinea pig. Also, I play soccer.

Why is being active important to you? I think it is important to be active because if you don't
stay active, how are you going to stay awake for your classes? Being active is
like coffee except it's something your body gives you. (And it's free.)

What advice would you give to a student who
doesn’t like to exercise? "how do you want yourself
to look in 40 years?" Do you want people to say to you, "Wow! You're
fit!" or "Wow. You've really... let yourself go..."

Favorite Wellness unit and why. Rollerblading was hands down my favorite unit. Though I only
got to be in it for one class, (I missed 6 weeks due to injury) it was awesome
and a unit I loved.

When I want a healthy snack I reach for...Popchips and cheddar cheese.

To relax I...play
my clarinet and sleep if clarinet playing is not an option.

If I were a WMS Wellness teacher I would add running to the curriculum. Running is my jam, and I was so
sad when I realized that it wasn't a unit. I know we do the Pacer and some
things, but for me it would be great if we had a unit devoted to running.

On my first day of school I wish I knew...dance was a unit. I would have had more time to mentally
prepare myself for the hardships of this unit. I'm not saying it was an awful
unit, I bet lots of people love dancing, it's just that, dancing isn't my
thing.

says this is not the Zumba unit FYI :-)
